I had a wedding on the beach at Fort Fisher near Wilmington, NC, and they traveled all the way there. They did an amazing job before, during, and after the ceremony on the beach. They brought a sound system that did not even have to have an electric outlet, and it sounded amazing. All of the guests loved the music, and I am still hearing raving reviews about their performance from everyone. I appreciate all of the planning and practice that they did beforehand, especially the phone calls about what we wanted for our ceremony. It was a perfect performance, and I recommend them to everyone! Thank you guys!

The Tsunami Wave Riders may be one of Trop Rock's most underrated bands. Having only been recently introduced to this group, I found the band to be a natural Gulf Coast trop rock fit, perfect for helping us all escape to the islands. It's easy to become a fast fan of their blended Hawaiian, reggae, rockin country sound, mixed in with a little electric guitar and steel drums. The Alabama show I attended was a huge party success. Effective crowd interaction poured over some catchy tropical tunes had the Tsunami Wave Riders taking us on a fun island ride.
Nothing fancy about their songs, and that's the beauty of their tunes you seem to keep in your head. As infectious as most of the band's songs are, 'Be My Tropical Lady' is already near the top of the list of my favorite 'island time' playlist unes. An instant beach classic (years in the making, right?).
I'm looking to see this group perform again, and if you get a chance to see them, don't miss them. They should no longer be this well kept a trop rock party secret.
Now, for what has to be the fifteenth time this week, I'm off to release some of my inner tiki by listening to the Tsunami Wave Riders' CD purchased at a recent beach show.
Thanks... Mike "Docta Phlocka" Guidry

I couldn't have had a better birthday and this band made the party. I had everyone asking me how in the world I ever found such a great band, and someone even said they were the best island band they have ever heard. I felt honored to have them perform at the party. I hope I can see them perform again. What a wonderful, unforgettable experience. Thank you guys for a terrific birthday night. Take Care, Carla Adams

The Tsunami Wave Riders were everything we were looking for and more. We wanted to have a tropical back for our "End of Summer Beach Bash" Company Picnic. Not only did they perform for us throughout our event, they interacted with us as well. They tried to teach several of our associates how to hula which made for some funny moments that we will all be laughing about for some time to come. They were professional, affordable, accomodating, and most of all...talented. -Melody H, Conyers, GA
We hired the Tsunami Wave Riders for our corporate event without actually seeing their performance live so we were a little anxious as to what to expect. Once they started playing, we knew we made the right decision. Their song selection was great. They engaged the audience with limbo, hula dancing and more. Everyone had a great time! I would highly recommend them. -Karen P, Charlotte, NC
This was the Wave Riders first experience with a cruise-in format but they handled the event like seasoned pros. The feedback from everyone we have spoken with has been positive and very complimentary to the point that those in attendance that are looking for musical talent for other events have indicated the Wave Riders are their first choice. We would not hesitate to bring them back at a future date. I am sure there are some new "Turtle Heads" in Cleveland as a result of their performance. -Robert A, Cleveland, TN
The Tsunami Wave Riders were absolutely wonderful. They were a lifesaver in our situation. The band we booked beforehand for our event cancelled on us and we were in desperate need of a new band who could play beach music and summery island music with just a few days to spare. They were also a lot of fun! The guests enjoyed them just as much as we did. They were very interactive with the guests and even some of the little kids (and some of us) joined in with the group playing with the maracas, etc. They are very friendly, energetic and a great group to work with. Thanks Tsunami Wave Riders for adding so much flavor to our event! -Andrea S, Greenville, SC
The members of the Tsunami Wave Riders were up-beat, personable, and enthusiastic. They came into our crouded environment and set up in good time. In response to their great song selection and steel band sound, many people came up to dance and have fun. It was great to be there and enjoy the experience!!! -George F, Tega Cay, SC

Tsunami Wave Riders were an awesome band for our wedding reception. We have had tons of great response from guests who attended. Many said it was the best band they'd heard at a reception. We loved it! -Chap S, Aiken, SC
This band was absolutely wonderful!!! They played great music and had a really fun presence on stage; without them our reception would not have been amywhere near as much fun! I will definitely hire them again for any future events. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate them a 150!!!!! -Elizabeth C, Concord, NC
Island Dreamin were very professional and helpful on our wedding day. They arrived early and brought additonal decorations and surprises for us.They were great and everyone enjoyed the music. They had alot of audience participation. We highly recommend them for all occasions. -Sylvia B, Mooresville, NC
They were so kind and just what we were looking for! Thank you so much! They even did more than we were expecting and it is greatly appreciated! -Niki K, Tega Cay, SC
They are wonderful! I have been corresponding with Joanna, Tropical Lady, for months and I feel like I know her. She is great and such a nice person. I only wish I could have had more time to talk to all of the members of the band. They really want to please and they want it to be what you want. Our son played guitar, while the groom sang to our daughter, just after the wedding. The band let them practice with them, just before the wedding. We wanted the reception to be fun, not stiff, so they got our guest involved doing funny things, such as putting grass skirts on some of the funny guys, coconut shells on the groom and teaching them how to do the hulla, etc -Cherie B, Ocean Isle Beach, NC
Thank you so much for making our wedding so special!!! You guys were fantastic!!!! -Amy L, Washington, DC

The band was fantastic! The entire evening's performance was well orchestrated and right in line with the theme we had requested. The band even learned a new (and very special) song that we had requested and my wife and I think it was performed as well as (if not better than!!) the original! We had a small intimate party and Ronnie and his band were warm, friendly, and professional and made us feel totally at home while they performed. The whole experience totally exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend the band. Thanks to everyone for making the event such a positive experience!! - Greg B, Outer Banks, NC
